About the Design

Above and to the right of the portrait is the word "Liberty". Below the portrait, the bar is marked with "Copper." The purity and the weight are in standard (avoirdupois) ounces.

The reverse side features a patriotic design incorporating spread wings representing liberty and the stars and stripes, along with the copper weight and purity.

Important Features:

• Each bar contains 1 ADVP (avoirdupois) oz of .999 fine copper. This is the "standard" weight rather than the "troy" weight used in gold and silver bullion.
