Overview of History

There was a time when people thought the Morgan design was lost for good. The few that remained were in extremely poor condition. A collective sigh of relief was felt in 1921 when they agreed to restore the design for the silver dollars that were once again in production. Up to the design's replacement in 1922, the mints produced more than 87 million coins with the Morgan design. Since these were the original coins, they are even more valuable than the ones from 1921. Furthermore, it's a mystery how many are still in existence today. These coins have all the brilliance of an uncirculated coin and show no discernible signs of wear because they are in brilliant uncirculated condition.

The Any Year - Morgan Dollar Circulated (No Grade) available here are all in BU condition and are dated before to 1921. The mint markings, which can originate from any of the mints that produced coins during that time—Philadelphia, Carson City, San Francisco, New Orleans, and Denver—will differ based on availability. The coin's obverse side features an image of Lady Liberty wearing a phrygian cap while facing left. Thirteen stars surround her picture, signifying the first thirteen colonies. 1921 is below her, and 'E PLURIBUS UNUM' is over her head.

The original minting period for this coin was 1978–1904. When silver started to run out, production stopped. All of the silver dollars that were available at that time were the coins that were in use until 1921. They were highly prized for their silver content. In 1921, they were brought back for a year until a new design was chosen. These are in brilliant uncirculated (BU) condition and are from the original run, which ran from 1978 to 1904 (depending on stock on hand).
